Large clean rooms. Hot water, TV and fridge – although the fridge stopped working on day one and the TV signal was very poor. Adequate WiFi in rooms.

Nice roof terrace and breakfast.

We rented a small apartment – living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.  Very good although slightly expensive and we did give up asking for more kitchen utensils – the kitchen was basic to say the least and could have done with a good clean.

WiFi in room and generally quite fast.

Very well located for the city sights and food shops. Didn’t try the in house Chinese restaurant as it allows indoor smoking. There are at least two very high quality restaurants just around the corner (The Yak Restaurant & Rosemary Restaurant).

Hotel has a battery backup system and a generator.  During the many power cuts the battery kicks in immediately and powers one wall fan, one light in each room and the WiFi.  The generator is turned on up to an hour later and powers everything.
